Bug 720p UI Resolution limit affects 1080i H264 .ts files. (Makes then run at 720i)

I have a bug with latest xbmc build running on raspberrypi using Raspbmc.
I have set xbmc to adjust display refresh rate to match video.

The UI is limited to run at 720p as standard in xbmc builds on raspberry pi.

If I run a 1080p mkv movie file it plays fine at 1080p and changed refresh rate to 24fps as expected.

If I try to play a 1080i H264 .ts Recorded tv file its getting outputted at 720i at 50fps. My tv shows its receiving 720. It should be outputting it at 1080.

If I use the raspbmc option to remove this UI resolution limit so the UI is now running at 1080p and then run the 1080i H264 .ts recorded tv file again it now gets outputted at 1080i at 50fps.

Is this a problem with the UI resolution limit ?
