Solved no vdpau on certain channels with vnsi
#1
As title suggests, on some of my HDTV channels vdpau wont kick in with the vnsi plugin, it is just the ffmpeg decoder, which is bringing my htpc to the brink of going up in flames. Playing back the recording of same channel works, it's just the live picture that is problematic.

System: XBMC frodo rc1 (from there https://launchpad.net/~wsnipex/+archive/xbmc-xvba)
vnsi plugin compiled from git (frodo branch)

Logs (syslog + xbmc.log): http://pastebin.com/4Rs7qjgb

recorded snippet from one of the channels: http://localhostr.com/5SDIWkoQbGHT

Side note, I tested this with xvdr too and I don't get any picture at all on these channels, so it seems to be a general problem, it would be nice if somebody would be able to find a fix for this though.

Sorry, should've done that from the start. Here it is, actions taken: starting problematic channel - stopping same channel.

While re-writing the parsers and major parts of the vdr vnsi plugin I have identified some flaws in the h.264 parser. In case I get somewhere tomorrow, I'll factor out a fix for your case.

Fix is pushed to my vnsi branch: https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc-pvr-...mmits/vnsi
Make sure to checkout vnsi (git checout vnsi)

Will be in opdenkamp repo soon (after proper testing)

Took me a while to reply, bloody Christmas Big Grin, had a short window to test this tonight and I'm glad to say that my vdpau problems are fixed in your vnsi branch. Thanks for taking the time.
