I managed to avoid the first Boxee Box, but impulsively splurged on a boxee.tv. What a HUGE disappointment, Why didn't I do my research first. Now I'm think I'm going to RMA it. It has hardly any apps (no crunchy roll) and I don't see a way to connect to a share. Who gives a crap about cloud PVR, that would have been just a bonus for me. Guess I'll have to spend more to get what I really want. XBMC on a PC the size of a Boxee.tv. This thing is a total snooze.

RMA it, and build your own.
you can buy mini cases, mini mother boards, and mini power supplies, all able to run xbmc |

If you're timid about building your own from scratch, grab a Foxconn 3500, add memory, and an SDD or SD Card... install OpenELEC 2.0... you're all set

I have a Shuttle XS35GTv2 (ion based) which is basically that.
Imho it looks a bit more sophisticated than the foxconn, although they are very similar. When your issue is solved, please edit your original post and select Solved Issue from the pulldown menu. Thanks!
