I have an i5-2500k from a machine I took apart and 8gb of ram that went with it. looking for an inexpensive build to complete an xbmc setup. would like a small case to fit next to my av receiver. I have a antec 300 case and an msi atx mb but those are way too big.

Are you planning on putting any disks in it or just an SSD?
Do you need an optical drive?
Where are you located?

I never play disks, just rips. All the movies are on portable drives not on a nas and I prefer to keep it that way. I am in the US. Have shoprunner and would like to get everything from newegg since they deliver fast and free

I'm still looking for ram, probably going to go with a Samsung 830 64GB ssd and I already have a Nvidia GT610 for GPU acceleration. I'm looking for another motherboard with a CIR header so I can turn it on and off via IR remote.
