Can't donate without...
#16
I would like to donate but I'm running into the same problem as the OP. I don't want to use PayPal, yet all the options I have is either log into it, or create an account (including password and the likes).

Is there any other way? A wire transfer maybe?

Thanks.

We will look into wire transfer options.
For Europe this is likely possible quite soon as just made an IBAN bank account.
You will need to be living in one of the countries that is part of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area).

As for any other countries we need to check as there may be very high transfer fees applicable. from €6,- and up.
So i guess it will eventually depend on where you live.

At least thx for trying Smile

Yeah I live next door Wink. So wire transfer is 'free' here, in the shadow of the EU Tongue

If wire transfer is possible let us know, then I'll donate immediately. I'm not happy entrusting Paypal/eBay with my credit card details (or linking my bank account to it).

See donate page for details. Hope I've made the details clear enough to prevent mistakes . Please let us know if something is wrong or should be clarified. I would hate that they would pay a huge fee by accident.
Thank you for the support Smile

Martijn, since I can't PM you, can you check whether my donation came through? Made it earlier this week through wire transfer and included my username as per your instructions. Or refer me to the person who keeps track of it.

Actually to save creating another thread, unless that is where it belongs!

I donated via paypal to XBMC Foundation on 6th November. It quite clearly shows in paypal out!

But nowhere can I see that xbmc.org got my money?

Is there a way of tracking this to make sure my donation got through to you?

Hi guys, I want to know if the option to accept Bitcoin is still being considered, I know some companies like Bitpay and Coinbase do this for free for organizations like this one.

After years telling the virtues of XBMC to my friends (and thanks to the Android version), in the last year I convinced a lot of friends to use it Smile
Thanks for the awesome job!
