Plex On Deck - Now Playing List

Plex has a feature that is very useful called On Deck. When you start to play a file, this file is on Deck until completed.

So this will be on the main page next to the favorites list. When you play a file, it is added to the list and when you finish it, it is removed from that list. It could be called a Now Playing List.

You are always watching more than 1 file. You watch part of a series, part of a show, you will have all the started but uncomplete files in a list and are able to resume them quickly.

It was the Watchlist script and now it's Skin Widgets.

I was unable to make that work but even if I was able, it would be no good. Please correct me if I'm wrong, that would work for items scanned in to your library, right? If that's it, it's no good. The On Deck, Now Playing List should show all files that are playing not those that are in your library. Not all files that you play inside XBMC are in the library.

Then I think you'll have to code it yourself since no one probably has interest in that.

No I'm not rude. Yes I'm psychic.

There is no easy way of getting this done and you'd also need to integrate it into the skin.
If there were interest it would probably already exist.
