I noticed that XBMC is taking a while to shut down and having just had a look at my logs i suspect it may be Python, whatever that is?

How do you do that? And does that mess with any of my xbmc? Settings, skins etc!
Thanks.

You are using Frodo version right? If so then you'll have no issues. The same like you already installed xbmc but then just download a nightly version

If you are still using Eden11.0 then it's a different story

Lol, fair enough. Thing is it never used to so its definitely something user error or something I've installed.
So are you saying its a nightmare to upgrade to frodo? Would I be starting from scratch again?

Could be a script that is not playing nice.

Upgrading to Frodo12.0 isn't that difficult but some preparation is always in order. Like doing a backup of current settings and some scripts, plugins and skins won't be supported.

yeah i think its some sort of script, im not TOO fussed about the slowness of it exiting but im just concerned its slowing other things down?
Frodo may be a good upgrade but haven't really looked into it, having just started using XBMC i cant see it getting any better than what it is right now, it does everything and more for me right now Smile
but im sure frodo must be a worthy upgrade?
