VNSI: No Signal - even though connection is there
#1
Hello!
I'm trying to get the vnsi-plugin running and I'm stuck now. Sad
The system is a ubuntu server 12.10 running 3.5.0-19-generic kernel.
XBMC 12 Frodo RC2
And VDR:
Searching for plugins (VDR 1.7.28/1.7.28) (cache hit): vnsiserver.
with the plugin from https://github.com/opdenkamp/xbmc-pvr-addons.git

The log looks quite ok for me at the beginning, but then ends up in the VNSI: No Signal and frontend timed out messages. XBMC also shows these vnsi client signal loss messages. I'm not too familiar with the plugin in part, and not sure in which component the problem is located. So any hints are welcome!
Let me know if you need more information.

Many thanks in advance and a happy new year!

Looks like vdr does not get any data from the dvb tuner, neither pat/pmt nor any stream packets. Where did you get your channels.conf from? Does rocording work?

Hey thanks!
I took a wrong channels.conf - that was the right hint. Now it works fine!
