Win XBMC Crashes at startup
#1
Running Windows 7 x64 on a Samsung 64GB SSD. System is an i3 with 4GB ram.

I've installed XBMC 11.0 without an issues and when I try and run the program I get an immediate error:

CApplications::CreateGUI()failed

I've never had this issue before and I've installed XBMC more then a few times on many different systems. I'm sure its someting on my end. I've searched but couldn't find a solution.

Most likely you need to install video card drivers and make sure direct is installed

Thanks for the quick response. That error has gone away and now it is telling me to check to see if the log file is writeable. Is that the one is AppData?

So I'm still having the same issue.

CApplication Creat() Failed : Check the log file and that it is writeable

I've check the permissions and they all have check marks for allow.
