So call me paranoid, but i havent tested this myself because last time i tried to change resolutions my xbmc install freaked out and i lost everything...
But i'm installing my Crystal HD card in my atv, but my question is... well two... all my HD files at the moment are 720 but i do have a lot of SD stuff as well, basically question i'm asking is, my denon (2313 fwiw) upscales all non 1080p signals (what i send to my TV) quite nicely and i think that SD actually looks pretty decent. My question is, if i bump my resolution up to 1080p on my atv/xbmc, apart from being able to use 1080p video files, will i lose quality on my SD files? or does XBMC do a pretty good job of scaling... or actually... does XBMC just pump out whatever res the video is...
Hopefully its a pretty simple question and hopefully i actually make sense!
