Not sure if anyone noticed, but Geniatech released their source codes 7 days ago. Hopefully that can bridge the gap

If someone wants to point out the threads that have good info, it might be something to add to the wiki.

if i wanted to write some stuff on the wiki can you provide a link to the best page to put stuff on?

I suppose some stuff might only be relevant to the atv1200 but most of it is general android stuff.

I had a look at the xbmc android section but can't see where i would put stuff?

this is the page i looked at

When I seek in some online videos I loose the picture but the audio remains, doesn't happen to all addons or local content.

Yes. I'm having the same problems with iplayer and itv player.

Tried lots of things but also get black screen.

I'm using the pivos build - which one are you using.

Also happens on Rte player if you have access to that.

Tried both the Pivos nightlies and betas still get the same problem. Interestingly I did try the official xbmc apk (no hw accel) and was able to skip and ff playing some SD content when I tried the same content in SD using the pivos apk the bug was back.

Also tried adjusting the network cachemembuffersize in advancesettings.XML with settings of 128mb, 56mb and 0 still not joy.

Try the new apk nightly on the pivos Forums (14th june) . It fixes the iplayer issues.

Is this the newest firmware for the ATV1200?

If not then does anyone have a link to it? There site doesn't have the new stuff, and in fact when you go to the page for the ATV and select downloads it gives you downloads for M1 and M3 lol.

Looks like there is a newer one..

Last one and you are good to go..
Throw on the last pivos xbmc.apk and use the xbmchub auto setup and you will be watching live streams before you know it..
This last week has been all about expattv for me..loving it, as I am in China so at the end of the day to watch the hairy bikers cooking up a storm in those English accents is bliss after hearing Chinese all day..:)

I'm certainly having the best success so far with spi_MX_20130510 and MX_20130506. Using the XBMC apk taken from the update_Mygica_A6_20130610 firmware as someone mentioned previously.
I can make the apk file available but don't have an account that readily facilitates such. I'm sure someone will suggest something easy if they want to avoid having to navigate a box in chinese with a remote that doesn't function correctly!
Shame it takes a day to import a library...

Hi folks does anyone use the Measy RC11 air mouse with their ATV1200? If the light becomes red on the remote does it mean the batteries are flat?
