Thru 3d settings

I'm trying a way to do it also automatically at the moment u can change frame rate to 30 in xbmc and make sure that sync res to display is of or use 1280x720 also works

I have the w1070 also and 3d is great on it using sainsonic glasses

Have you found something to do it automatically ?

Hi guys !

One year after someone asked the quesiton, I found THE solution for W1070+XBMC owners who want to watch 3D SBS MKV movies.

I am sure you guys with W1070 have a device with firmware below 1.07. Verify it in the "Info" section of W1070 menu.

I have a Raspberry Pi with openelec and a W1070 projector and I can now watch SBS 1080p@60 without even setting "1080p sbs" in XBMC options.

I first searched for a solution to set XBMC 1080i but after a few hours (2days of unsuccessful search) I just took the question the other way :
How to "force" the projector to activate SBS with 1080p?

You don't need any hacks, it's just a official update guys Smile

Apply 1.08 firmware and enjoy SBS with 1080p@60 with W1070.
