Cannot get XBMC to load at all, first time user. Every time I try to start it. I get the error "CApplication:CreateGUI()failed-Check log file for display errors.

I am using RealVNC to remote into the HTPC, and have also tried this with TeamViewer, but both throw the same error. I'm trying to avoid running it locally due to not having an available wireless keyboard/mouse yet for the HTPC, and due to location cannot get cabled devices to reach to a point where I can see the screen and operate the computer.

I'm about 95% sure that the system meets the minimum system requirements, but I could be mistaken. If this is why I'm having problems and you can tell what needs to be upgraded, please just post what I need to upgrade.

Any help would be much appreciated, just ask if more information is needed.

I think RealVNC installs a mirror display driver - if this is being picked up as the "primary" display driver, it may be causing the issue.

I don't know. It doesn't seem to be, but I attached a full log file just in case.

you cannot run XBMC through remote desktop/vnc. Don't try it
