I have my media on a second hard drive. I also have XBMC set to autostart on boot. I have seen that when I do reboot, and XBMC starts up, it doesn't see my media hard drive. I have to exit XBMC, open my hard drive (i.e., browse it with the file manager), and then restart XBMC. Then XBMC sees the media drive. This looks like Ubuntu isn't mounting the hard drive until I open it, so it probably more of a Ubuntu question than an XBMC question, but I am hoping to get a solution here since it kinda does pertain to XBMC installations.
