No addons shown in default repo on Windows?
#1
I was evaluating XBMC stable release yesterday on Mac (nonPPC), and was interesting. Browsed addons via XBMC default repo and installed Vimeo and Youtube video addons.

Just installed XBMC 11 stable release on Windows (7 32-bit) today and for some reason no add ons are shown when I attempt to browse for them for the default repo. Followed wiki instructions for browsing/installing addons from default repo.

Windows did prompt whether to allow or block access to XBMC on launch and I allowed it. XBMC didn't complain about any issues w/ network access and the weather add on was able to retrieve weather info. But I find it strange that the Mac (OS X 10.7) was able to browse repo and install but no addons show up on Windows 7 for what I believe is same release version 11. WTF?

What might be the problem and any suggestions on how to get addons to show up in repo list on Windows?

So it's a known issue? Thanks for the heads up.

Does the addon repo work on any version of Windows, or broken for all?
