Hi!
I think, the order of the channel groups should be the same
as on the vnsiserver. I find the alphabetical order confusing.

This is an "issue" for all backends. My list of tasks is quite long atm. Currently I am working on timeshift. As a work around you can prefix the channel groups with numbers.

Not only the groups, but also the channels. Is the channel import now worling with groups with vdr ?

You can configure PVR to use channel order from backend and sync channel groups.
