Hi,
Having got increasingly annoyed with WMC, I have just changed to XBMC. I am running windows 7 and Frodo RC2. I installed argus as per the wiki article, and the argus pdf file.
The only addons I have used are the ones for argus. The whole setup is very new!
Live TV is poor at best - with a lot of horizontal lines in moving images (SD, is this interlacing?). Channel changes take a minimum of 6 seconds. Often when changing channels it jumps to the earliest recorded part of the first channel on my list.
Video performance is fine for downloaded vids, and is fine with Argus's direct output.
Given I am definitely inexperienced in these things, should I wait for the stable Frodo, or is there something simple I can do to rectify the situation?
