hi,
how do i get paplayer to play dts files? as far as i can see the xbmc cvs from 2005-09-21 uses still mplayer as default. play using... gives only one more option: the dvdplayer! but not the paplayer, although it should be capable of playing dts files.
what do i do wrong?

it looks as if the paplayer is only used for .dts and .ac3 files if you have analog output or have ac3/dts disabled. otherwise, mplayer is used as a passthru for digital audio.

i have no idea. so my advice to you is not to 'expect' anything.
