Dell Inspiron 1525 capable as HTPC?
#1
I've got an old Dell laptop with a broken keyboard (broken the ribbon connector while disassembling the laptop to replace the lid due to broken hinges). Wondering if it would handle dedicated use as a HTPC for XBMC. Would need to play back compressed 1080p blu-ray rips (~5-6 GB per film).

Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo processor
Intel GM965 Express chipset
Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics

It has HDMI out.

I would leave it running behind the TV, and set up some sort of remote. Would be wired to my home network to stream files from my main Windows 7 desktop.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!
