There is a huge volume difference between various channels here (sometimes up to 20dB!), but AFAIK the volume or the amplifier settings in XBMC are global, they get reset on each channel change.
Is this something that is planned for the near future?
Some kind of normalizer would nice too but that seems harder to do; Sometimes on the same channel I get drastic volume changes (National geographic, between the show and the commercials, at least 10dB). A channel volume wouldn't help there.
