Hi,
Is there something about 1080i MPEG-2 audio or video content that make it more difficult for LiveTV? I have overclocked xbian to turbo mode and still get buffering of Live TV (but not for recorded programs).

By contrast, 720p MPEG-2 Live TV plays without buffering at a modest overclock and 1080p mkvs (h.264) also play without issue with just a modest overclock (and using NFS).

How is your PI connected to your network?

For me 1080i comes in fine, but 720p buffers every 5s or so. I'm using a hardwired connection but my PI is not overclocked. I'm still trying to get to the bottom of this.

Hi,
Well, my RPi is dead. I'm sure things will change by the time the replacement arrives and my issue will be resolved.

FWIW, it was connected via a wired connection.
