Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help, I am trying to install the IOS Remote for XBMC (Official) and it does not show my PC as being online to operate the remote. I have selected in XBMC settings for allow HTTP, choose a random port number and random username and password. I have selected allow this computer and allow other computers/devices to access,zeroconf selected. When I download the IOS app and select find host, it finds my PC and I enter the login and password. However it just shows as not connected. Then when I click into the host with the red dot it just goes around and round. Is there something I am missing to set it up? Perhaps another setting in XBMC for it to work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried manually inputting the IP address?

Managed to get it sorted. Was a setting on my PC, which was blocking the connection through my Firewall.
