I have installed Raspbmc onto my Pi and have XBMC up and running (Blackberry Playbook remote controlled).
The problem I have now is what to do with it ? I have no experience of this program at all and all of my content is on a 250GB external HDD which is just a USB connection. I understand that it's not quite as simple as just plugging the HDD into one of the Pi's USB ports. So I bought a USB powered hub, plugged that into the Pi then plugged my HDD into a port on the hub, still I cant see the location when I try to add files.
Ideally do I need a central server (NAS etc...) for all my content ?
