Possible regression, with RC2 using the shutdown timer it would shut the PC down. RC3 it only exits XBMC and leaves the PC running.

What do you have selected for the following: System/Settings > System > Power saving > Shutdown function: Exit or Shutdown?

Thanks, that was it. seams the settings didn't stick between RC2 & RC3.. +1
