I have two users logged into my iMac computer at the same time. I use fast user switching to switch back and forth among them. I have XBMC setup where the two users share the same XBMC user data from /Users/Share/XBMC where ~/Library/Application Support/XBMC is a symbolic link to /Users/Share/XBMC. I also have set the OS X ACLs on /Users/Share/XBMC where the two users have r/w permission to access /Users/Share/XBMC. One of the users is an admin the other is a standard user. I have XBMC set to NOT allow the Apple remote to launch XBMC.
Now I have the strange situation where if I run XBMC more then once in the admin account and I fast user switch to the standard user account, XBMC will also be running in the standard user account. Before I ran XBMC from the admin account I had not run XBMC in standard user account.
What is causing this to occur?
