Hello,

I understand there are some changes with naming conventions for thumbnails between Eden and Frodo versions. If someone could provide me with what the differences are it would be greatly appreciated.

Currently I have this structure for my Movies.

Code:

Movies\Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001)
     folder.jpg
     Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001).divx
     Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001).nfo
     Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001).tbn
     Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001)-fanart.jpg
     Actors folder
          Actors images

I see the information on the thumbnail page but what should I change in my situation. Should the fanart I have just be fanart.jpg instead of moviename-fanart.jpg? Do I need the moviename.tbn now? What about the folder.jpg? I'm sorry but it is not clear to me.

In your case I would just rename the tbn file to:

Jimmy Neutron- Boy Genius (2001)-poster.jpg

Then you'd be up to date with the newest naming standard (however leaving it as it is will still work as there is backward compatibility)

folder.jpg isn't really needed

Thank you for the information It will save me space on my hard drive by removing the folder.jpg files. Renaming the files now will eliminate me changing the names later if backward comparability is ever removed.

I just use 'folder.jpg' in all my movie folders with Frodo RC3 and that works just fine.

MovieName.mkv
fanart.jpg
folder.jpg

and then let the scrapers pull in the metadata
