I installed the XBMC 12 RC3 with VU+/Enigma Client 1.6.6 on Mac OS X Lion. I use it with a dreambox and encountered the following issue:
The German PayTV Sky HD channels are not working. Other HD channels (Free to Air) and all SD channels are fine. When I switch to Sky HD, Live TV only provides Audio. As soon as I switch to another channel (no matter which one) afterwards, XBMC freezes. I tried different versions. No luck.

Today I tried the same configuration on a Windows 7 machine. Here everything is fine. My XBMC.log from my Mac is here: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=28666
The trouble starts with the stream as opened in line 1887.

Any ideas?

If you record a short SKY HD stream, copy that stream over to your Mac and then play it locally, does it still have the same issues?

As soon as I'm at home I can test whether I have the same problem (I'm running Mountain Lion). At least for OpenELEC (so Linux) the SKY HD channels are not a problem, I'm using it all the time...

Hi,

you were right! When I'm playing a recorded Sky HD stream in XBMC Frodo, XBMC crashes. In Eden the same stream works fine.
Hopefully you'll find a solution...

Hello,

I've played with the video playback settings in XBMC 12 RC3. When I turn off the "Video acceleration" , the Sky HD channels seem to work. I'll test whether that's pure chance or the real issue.
