I have a standard MCE remote running xbmcbuntu I use a smart playlist for my TV shows most of the time everything is great but on some shows skipnext doesn't work and I have to push the up button (bigskip) a dozen times then it moves to the next video in the playlist

anyone have any ideas on how to make a button that will skip to the next item on a playlist everytime ?
