Just detected that somehow my 5.1 speaker setup is played in a wrong order from XBMC. When I play a 5.1 audio file from VLC, all channels are sent to the correct speakers. So this is not a OSX problem. But when I play the same file through XBMC, some speakers are played in the wrong order, or not at all, or certain channels are played on the same speaker. Anyone got any clue how I can fix this??

verify that you got your speaker setup in audio-midi-setup in osx right as xbmc depends on that.
