i have created a script which can trigger little movies from http://www.6pack.tv. most of these clips are wmv files and any file that is being played through the script starts to play very fast after a couple of seconds (like fastforward) but the sound is keeping the correct speed. when i look at the videodata in xbmc, i see loads of early frames coming in.

how does this happen ?

does xbmc.player() still trigger mplayer ?
