I'm running xbmc on a raspberry pi and I have a problem setting the subtitle delay default value as explained here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Video_playback

I set the delay at -1.000 and then select the "set as default for all videos", but then if I stop and restart the video and go back to the same options screen the delay is 0. The strange thing is that in guisettings.xml the value seems to be saved at : <subtitledelay>-1.000000</subtitledelay>


I tried restarting xbmc, but the effect seems the same. Is this normal behavior?

That does not sound like normal behavior. Sounds like the R-Pi is not reading default settings from guisettings.xml
