Very new to the whole XBMC thing. Can stream movies from the add ons, like 1 pass, but any movie i try to play from my NAS drive gives the message "one or more items failed to play. check the log file for details.. I had it browse for my share, it found it, and lists every movie in the directory, but i get the same error for every one. this is after a fresh install of xbmc. any suggestions? also, where is the log file?

iOS FAQ (wiki). Sounds like a permissions error on the NAS drive. As in, XBMC does not have permission to open the file.

Thanks Ned. I checked the FAQs before submitting the question, but didn't find anything that pointed to this issue. Still don't...It is weird, it reads the directory because it lists all of the movies there, but won't play any of them.

Please, enable debug and attach the debug log to see what the error could be.
