I just got another message on my phone, which states I/O exception (java.io.filenotfoundexception)
I got the verion from the Android market store and its V0.8.8-beta1

But you still did not state which XBMC version you're running.
OK, just saw your new post. Glad you got it working! This will probably make it to the app store once the author feels it's ready for primetime.

I can't get all the buttons on the remote to work? maybe the next version? what do you think?

You may want to ask or report any problems you are experiencing over on the thread I linked in my earlier post. It is still beta code after all.

I am getting this error on the new version of the XBMC Remote.
It looks like XBMC4XBOX has not implemented JSONRPC yet running the latest version v3.2. After a lot of playing found a beta version of remote v0.9.0 that has a tick box on the host config screen to say "use JSONRPC", but it is not on the release version on GooglePlay.
Anyone got any ideas? and could you roll this option into the release version?
