Menu font tearing?
#1
Maybe the issue is isolated to me or my setup, or maybe an option in the skin. When scrolling left and right in the main menu the fonts look almost like they are tearing. It looks like the font gets thinner as it scrolls left and right, and looks normal when not moving. I have Vsync enable and everything works perfectly fine everywhere else. I have an nVidia GTX 650 running the latest Ubuntu drivers. This is more an annoyance and not a major issue. Just curious if anyone else is having this issue.

I have a 46 inch Samsung, can't remember the model number right now. I don't think its the TV. Didn't have the problem before updating.

Try disabling dirtyregions in advancedsettings.xml.

<advancedsettings>
<gui>
<algorithmdirtyregions>0</algorithmdirtyregions>
</gui>
</advancedsettings>

If it did help I couldn't notice, though thanks for the help. I've learned to just cope with it. Since I am only in the main menu a few seconds its not a huge deal.
