Amet would say this even to other team members, so I wouldn't take offense to it ;)

If some of those are thrown on the wiki then wiki-links can be used, which only require four characters + title.

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc

Ok Ned - tricks that's was the idea I wanted to wack most of my finding to wiki but it is a lot. I would like to learn your mysterious ways. I need to find myself a mentor in these mysterious ways.

Im ok with Amet, he was stalking a gazelle it turned out to be a Tasmanian devil, - still edible though. some pepper sauce.

@uNiversal
yep, I now strip the font size from signatures, as it never was meant to be in there from the beginning (I forced a certain font-size for signatures via CSS, but the size tag messed it up, even when set to "x-small"). That's why I strip them now.
As for the max length - actually BBCODE shouldn't be taken into account - if it still does, there is a bug.

Then there is a bug because BB code and spaces all count.

Thought this might be a good place to post this as a question. Is there any ruling regarding animated avatar images? I've seen a few (or maybe the same one) in some forum posts and they are really annoying. Just wondering if there was any thought to this type of thing since signatures seem to have limitations to prevent distractions. Thanks.

sure, just post in the relevant development section and be as detailed as possible about what you're looking for.
ask anyone who is interested to send you a PM (no public discussions please).

Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not PM or e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

Foo Wrote:What about something like this: bla bla bla etc etc etc [...] and so forth
Bar Wrote:Awful

Maybe there should be a rule about how feedback is vented? Hearing something sucks does not really help, reading how somebody else think it can be done better has more value. To me the post from Bar really does not show much respect for the idea/try of Foo.

I think it might help to add the PirPol to the draft. The current versions does not seem to be clear to users. And even when the policy itself is not up for debate, the way it is expressed / written may be increased by multiple writers and feedback.
