I have a HomeRunHD to get QAM channels. I can open the strm files but I can't "change channel", I have to open a different file.
Is there a way I can press channel up on my Nyxboard and have it move to the next stream in the folder?
Thanks,
JOe K.

The best I was able to do was to make all the STRM files into a playlist. That way the "next/previous" commands would act like flipping through channels. I didn't really play with it a lot because I'm setting up a PVR backend for it anyways, but it might be a method to look at.

Would a pvr backend achieve the channel flipping? Is there any benefit other than recording for pvr?
By playlist, do you mean video playlist?

Currently nothing because the linux server I was going to use is freaking out, but I hear that for HDHomeRun the best is MythTV for Linux and NextPVR or ARGUS for Windows.
