I am running XBMC 12 Frodo on Apple TV 2 with Confluence default skin. When I select "Search" from the home screen shortcut or from the view options menu I find that clicking the "Menu" button on the remote does NOT cancel the search. I can either do whatever search I have typed in by clicking "Done" and then clicking "Menu" to get back to the home screen OR I can clear out any search text I have entered and then click "Done" to cancel the search. It seems to me that the "Menu" button on the Apple TV remote should also cancel the search.
