Anyone else having trouble connecting a Dolby 5.1 speaker to an Apple tv. Once sound is changed on XBMC to dolby the sound will not work.
ATV2 running XBMC version 12 Frodo
ATV2 connected to TV using HDMI for picture and sound
ATV2 connected to Sony Amp model STR-DB930 using Digital Optical cable.
ATV2 Sound settings are set to HDMI and all option for Dolby Digital or DTS are picked.
Problem I am having is when I play a movie in XBMC that is in Dolby Digital or DTS the amp sees it as the blue light comes on in the amp but I get no sound from the speakers. When I change sound setting in XBMC to Analog I get sound from the speakers but as PCM 48KH.
