I have not found an answer to this yet. Is there a way to install XBMC and add ons to a smart dvd player?

I took a copy of xbmc source code, burned it to a dvd and stuck it in my dvd player. It just spat it out.

I guess you could use a camcorder to record an XBMC session beforehand, davilla, and then burn *that* to DVD - that'd work. You're just not trying hard enough
![]() @Astro2004 - you'll need a separate box, look towards the emerging Android sticks, Raspberry Pi and similar for something that's small, low-power, and discrete. You can then simply switch source on your television. |
