Is there any other remote that has RF & IF support (thats not a fortune) or is the Nyxboard the best option.

My tv remote is about finished so I would like to replace it and get a remote to use for xbmc but it is hidden away so I need RF.

the riitek keyboards @ amazon that are 2.4ghz with IR blasters on the back are pretty good. The range isn't that great if there are sources of interference though. I was just searching around for a replacement and noticed the motorola for the first time. Expensive though.

for android, official xbmc remote app (now finally fixed) is good, and third party Yatse is pretty good too. Sometimes it's nice to have a tactile feel so that you don't have to look at the remote. Otherwise it would be the best remote option possible, imo.
