As soon as I installed the last update (1.0.9), I have not been able to get a connection to XBMC. I get message "Exception: Method not found"
GF is still running the previous version and connects fine. I've tried an app reinstall with new connection profile, no change.
Any suggestions?

Which version of XBMC are you running? If it's Eden or earlier, v1.0.9 of the Android remote app may not play well with it. There's a caveat posted on the product description page in the app store that this version is for Frodo.
