Custom name convention to scrapper? video/movie (not TV shows)
#1
Is there a way to tell a scraper that my movies in certain folders are named this way: %YEAR% - %TITLE%?

I used this for kids' cartoons profile. Normal profile movies are commonly named: %TITLE% (%YEAR%).
I apologize if this has been brought up before. I just couldn't find it.

scrapper=fighter, you mean scraper.

And I think you need to look at the various regex threads and wiki entries. regexes are difficult. Easier to name the files properly.

If I have helped you or increased your knowledge, click the 'thumbs up' button to give thanks :) (People with less than 20 posts won't see the "thumbs up" button.)

No problem with regex, plus this should be easy since I need only one option on top. Smile

But - what file do I need to change in order to add to it? Is it scraper dependent? Is there is some global option?

Well I would look here http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=RegEx_tutorial and elsewhere on the wiki and forum.

I just need one information - what file do I need to change for video/movie scraping?

All other links lead me to TV Shows.

I don't think it will work for Movies.

Thanks. Exactly my conclusion after spending all day with RegExp and advancedsettings.xml.

Shame. One step is missing to full feature perfection. Sad
