According to the wiki, music videos can be added to either the video library or the music library or both. for meta data music library reads id3 tags, while video library reads the .nfo files. Ideally the use of the .nfo file is preferred however most users don't want a bunch of music videos showing up in their main view. Music videos are unique enough that it warrants its own library as opposed to genre/gender/age specific filters.

Music Videos are apart of the Video library, but can be displayed under Videos or Music. Library is done by types, not by categories. See here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add...l_listings

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Add-on:YouTube]] = Add-on:YouTube, [[Adding videos to the library]] = Adding videos to the library, [[userdata]] = userdata, etc
