Hello.
When I moving files from main PC to the XBMC PC (gigabit network), the transfer is half than normal, when XBMC is running.
When I close XBMC I get full transfer speed.
Is this normal or can I tweak something in XBMC?

Hello,
I am afraid I am not going to be able to help resolve the problem as I have the same issue. I see a drop from about 50% utilization down to about 17%.
I am running Frodo and I don't think I had the problem before I upgraded. But I was trying Jriver for a while before I loaded Frodo.

Bump. I know this is an old thread, but I have the same issue. I am dual purposing the htpc and serving some files from it and as long as XBMC isn't open it transfers no less than 100MB/sec but when I open XBMc is gradually drops to 30ish MBs. Any help would be greatly appreciated
