I'm using ipad 4 with 6.0.1 and XBMC v12.0
I downloaded rared files using Filer. Then added Filer's documents folder as a video source.
When I wanted to open the rar file, XBMC asked to unpack.
Then while watching I paused the video and hit the home button.
Now when I want to go back to XBMCit reopens the app and I have to to unpack the file again.
But then I discovered that the previously unpacked file isn't deleted. I tried turning the ipad on and off but that didn't help. Also it wasn't a one time thing I was able to replicate the "situation".
Is there anyway to delete this file? And prevent this from happening again in the future?
Ok looks like I found a way to delete the files:
I enabled the option to delete files in settings.
Added this as a video source "/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/temp".
In there I found a bunch of folders named rar*etc*. And in them were the unpacked file -the same one- and just deleted them from there.
Now is there a way to prevent this from happening again?
