Hey guys, the whole PVR thing is somewhat new to me so I got no idea where to start.
I'm a huge fan of XBMC and been useing it for a long time now, but want to add the ability to watch and record TV.
I just dont want to make a mistake before spending money so figured I would ask some advice.
I have a server running windows but doesent have any PCI ports, so limited to USB 2.0
What I would like to do is set this up with Satellite Reciever and spread the signal around to the XBMC machines spotted around the house.
I must be able to record and watch at the same time, also to be able to watch different channels in different rooms, also it would be nice to be able to pickup HD Channels and prefferably with 5.1 surround, also 3d would be optional but great.
can someone point me in the right direction, ive spent hours looking at DVB-s2 cards but dont know where to start
or is there a PVR I can buy out the box?
