Sensitivity of Harmony Remote Buttons
#1
Hi,

I have a Logitech Harmony 650 remote controlling my HTPC and it's working great... exception the buttons seem to be too sensitive. I've I'm using the arrow button to move through a menu it usually moves two or three steps at a time. It's really hard to make it move just one space.

I'm sure I've seen a sensitivity setting somewhere but I really can't find it. I've checked in the XBMC settings, in the MyHarmony web app settings and in Control Panel in Windows 7.

What am I missing?

Cheers,

Brian

I had the same issue with that same remote. By default that harmony remote sends 3 commands for every button press.

In the harmony web app.
Pick devices
Pick your device
Pick Change device settings
Pick device device command repeats

Slide it to 0 or 1. You may have to play with it to get it where you like. I find 0 too quick and 1 too much for my setup. So I have 0 for now.

Now if I could just get the thing so it doesnt get 'lost' in respect to the power settings I would be good. But I think that will be a call to ye ol harmony tech support.
