On my iPad 3th generation frodo crashes when i stop video playback. If i pause the video and then press stop it doesn't seem to crash. For a few moments i see an empty XBMC screen and then it crashes to iOS springboard.

It seems to do so with movies as well as with tv shows. It doesnt seem to update the library when it crashes. So no timestamp in the db. If i let the video finish playing, it does update the library and XBMC doesnt crash. The pause, stop combination also updates the library correctly and XBMC doesnt crash.

Everything else is fine. Video playback works for all types of movies (720p, 1080p, SD, etc.) and my library is properly shared and updated (see below). This is the only bug i can encounter.

- artwork organizer
- artwork downloader
- Confluence (comes standard standard on the official XBMC repo)
- Touched (comes standard standard on the official XBMC repo)

My SQL db is shared on my Synology NAS and seems to function properly from both my iPad and HTPC.

Is this a bug? And is there a workaround available?

I tried turning off thumbnail extraction, but it doesnt change the behaviour as described in the first post.

installed jezz pm3 HD skin

I think so, not sure,
jezz_x delivered the touch skin to ipad.

Same here, iPad 4 iOS 6.1 skin touched. Crash when pressing stop and fine when pressing pause then stop.

Solved my issue to, changed to confluence and no crash? Seems weird.

Thanks, unfortunately same thing happens with pm3 HD which is not a 4:3 skin and doesn't have touch support. Also forgot to mention I use MySQL too.

On iOS 6.1 with Frodo and Touched and happens to me every time I either stop or pause a movie. I just did the new jailbreak and frodo. Previously was on iOS 5.01 and Eden and had no issues. Is it possible to go back to Eden?

Try to change skin. Worked for me. Ios 5.1 and Frodo also worked for me. Possible to rollback, read the faq.
