I'm trying to install XBMC on an old Windows XP server to function as a scheduled library updater via the add-on and as a webserver so Sickbeard can call it and update the library.
It will not be playing any media.

I downloaded the Frodo DSPlayer version as that should be better when you only have an onboard GFX. (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...9&page=171)

Still I get the error in the log:

Is it possible to get XBMC started on this machine?

point 2: you cannot run XBMC through remote dekstop
