Android Skip to time not working with 1.0.9 and XBMC 12.0
#1
Prior to updating XBMC to 12.0 and remote to 1.0.9, I was able to use text entry to skip to time with the following workflow:

  1. Enter Remote Control mode
  2. Settings > Text Entry
  3. Enter time (ex: 4000 to jump to 40 minutes)
  4. Press "Done"
  5. Press "Select" on remote

With the current release, when I enter a time and press "Done" XBMC does not register the time entry.

I have tested this on Windows and ATV2 installations of Frodo. Also confirmed that the same workflow works between XBMC 11 and 12 on Windows (Enter time using numbered keys on keyboard, hit enter).

Either there was a workflow change in XBMCRemote to use this feature, or a code change needs to happen. Can anyone offer guidance?

I did not upgrade to Frodo till a few days ago, now using Frodo 12.2.
But I think the feature works for local files and many streams. Sometimes it does not work while playing a stream but I suspect it has to do to with the server supplying the stream not XBMC
